BIRMINGHAM, August 12, 2026 – Hinen has officially launched its new A15 Residential Energy Storage System in the UK, introducing a scalable and installer-friendly solution designed to help homeowners make better use of solar energy, manage rising energy demands and move towards greater energy independence.
The launch took place during a live online event attended by Hinen's technical team, UK distributors and installers, industry representatives, KOLs and homeowners. The event featured the official A15 unveiling, product and App demonstrations, a live installation and setup discussion, insights from Hinen's experience in Australia, industry perspectives and an open discussion with UK market partners.
A15 – Designed for Smarter, More Flexible Home Energy
The A15 combines Hinen's A-series hybrid inverters with the new B15 high-voltage battery, providing a comprehensive energy storage solution for modern UK homes.
Key features include:
· 14.4 kWh capacity per B15 battery module, with 13.68 kWh usable capacity and support for up to six batteries in parallel, enabling systems to scale to 86.4 kWh.
· Simplified installation, with no external Battery Management System (BMS) required, reducing wiring complexity and helping installers complete projects more efficiently.
· Ultra-slim 180 mm design and a compact 0.13 m² footprint, providing greater flexibility for garages, utility rooms and other space-constrained installations.
· Long-term performance, with more than 8,000 cycles and a 12-year battery warranty, supporting homeowners' long-term energy storage needs.
· Intelligent energy management through the Hinen App, enabling real-time monitoring and OTA firmware updates.
The A15 is designed to support the changing energy needs of UK households, including solar self-consumption, EV charging, heat pumps and home backup applications. Its modular architecture also allows homeowners to expand storage capacity as their energy requirements grow.
Connecting Technology with Real-World UK Experience
A key highlight of the A15 launch was a live discussion bringing together perspectives from across the UK residential energy storage ecosystem.
Representing Hinen’s technical team, Isaac, Technical Manager at Hinen Australia, shared insights from Hinen’s experience in the Australian residential energy storage market and discussed how this expertise is supporting the A15’s UK rollout.
The distributor discussion brought together Taj, Founder and CEO of Power Warehouse; Colin, Head of Sales at BHC Distributors Ltd; and Adam, Group CEO & Co-Founder of HDM Solar. They explored the evolving needs of the UK distribution market, the importance of reliable products and technical support, and the role of strong manufacturer-distributor partnerships in accelerating residential energy storage adoption.
From the installation perspective, Matthew, Founder of Lumos Energy Ltd, shared practical insights into installation considerations and the expectations of UK homeowners as demand for residential battery storage continues to grow.
Jason, CEO of the Energy Storage Association (UK), provided an industry perspective on the development of the UK energy storage market and the growing opportunities for residential batteries as the country’s energy system evolves.
Adding a homeowner perspective, Greg, Managing Director of Man with a Hammer Ltd, shared his experience with the A15 and the practical value of residential energy storage.
The event was supported by Keilan, Co-Founder, and Jordan, Founder and Managing Director, of ETOTO Media, who helped bring the launch to a wider audience. Hinen also welcomed Will, Sales Manager at Solar Renewable Hub, and PJ, Sales Account Manager at Triple Solar Ltd, as guests in attendance.
Together, these voices highlighted a central message of the A15 launch: advancing residential energy storage requires more than innovative technology—it requires close collaboration across manufacturers, distributors, installers, industry organizations and homeowners.
Through live demonstrations, installation discussions and direct exchanges with UK market participants, Hinen reinforced its commitment to building a strong local ecosystem and supporting its partners across the UK.

First 300 Installer Offer
To support the A15's initial rollout in the UK, Hinen is introducing an exclusive First 300 Installer Offer for the first 300 A15 units.
The offer is designed specifically as an initial installation incentive for installers and installation partners, supporting qualified partners as they introduce the A15 to UK homeowners. Further details of the offer will be provided through Hinen's UK distribution and installer network.

Building a Stronger UK Energy Storage Ecosystem
The A15 launch marks an important step in Hinen's broader UK strategy. Beyond bringing new energy storage technology to the market, Hinen is investing in the development of a local UK distribution and installer ecosystem, working closely with partners to provide product training, technical support, installation resources and ongoing service.
By strengthening collaboration with distributors, installers and industry professionals, Hinen aims to build long-term partnerships that can help make residential energy storage more accessible to UK homeowners.
“The UK is an important market for Hinen, and the launch of the A15 is about more than introducing a new product. It is about building strong local partnerships and creating the support network that installers and homeowners need to adopt energy storage with confidence.”
